The population was 4,450 at the 2000 census and by 2005 had been estimated to increase to 6,738. Ivins has been one of the fastest-growing cities in Utah since 1990, when its population was 1,639. Between 2000 and 2004, Ivins rose from the 68th-largest incorporated place in Utah to the 57th-largest.
